The Jason Floyd Golf Academy hosted the first tournament of their brand new Triple A World Junior Golf Series on the 27th and 28th September at Valle Romano Golf Resort, Estepona.
After round one, Triple A Elite Student Wigo W lead the way in the u21 category with a 2 under 69, with Tiger C the closest pursuer, 4 behind after posting a 2 over par 73. Tiger was making a move in the final round and was 3 under par through 15 holes, just one back of fellow German Wigo. The round 1 scores in the u16 category boded for an exciting finish with 6 players within 4 shots of leader Carl S who posted a 1 under par, 70 with Austrian Max F and German Gustav O 2 and 3 shots back respectively. The final round proved to be Carl’s show, with the 15 year old dominating the Valle Romano course with a bogey free 5 under par score of 66, his first ever bogey free round, finishing the tournament at 6 under par, and winning the u16 category by 9 shots.
