International Baccalaureate Diploma results
In May 2009, we achieved excellent IB diploma results with 98% achieving grade 3 and above (equivalent to a pass at A-Level) and an average diploma score of 31 points (UCAS points 413, equivalent to 3 As at A-Level!).

We had particularly good results in English, Spanish, French, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and especially Art.

These great results have enabled our IB graduates to gain places at top quality universities in UK, Spain, USA, Canada, Netherlands and China.

Outstanding individuals
There were some excellent individual results, particularly Poppy Jones who achieved the outstanding total of 42 points (UCAS points 645, equivalent to 5As and 1B at A-Level).

Diana Sisk and Max Waterous also achieved a total of 40 points (UCAS points 611, equivalent to 5As at A-Level).

This is the first time we have had three students with 40 points or more in one cohort.

I/GCSE results

Our final cohort of I/GCSE students sat their exams in June 2009 and obtained our best-ever results. Most impressive is the fact that 36% of all results were either grade A* or A, and 88% of all grades were A*-C. There were excellent subject results in English, Spanish, French, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, ICT, Business Studies and PE.

Outstanding individuals

A headmaster’s distinction is awarded for the outstanding performance of our top two students: Alex Martin who achieved 7A*s and 2As and Rio Jones who achieved 6A*s and 4As.
