Sotogrande International School is proud to congratulate the graduating class of 2006 on their success in their International Baccalaureate examinations.
International Baccalaureate
Our fifth cohort of IB students sat their examinations in May 2006. We achieved excellent results with 100% passing the diploma, with an average diploma score of 31 points, and 100% achieving grade 3 and above (approximately equivalent to a pass at A-Level). We had particularly good results in English, Languages, Economics, Geography, History and IT.

International General Certificate of Secondary Education
Our I/GCSE students from June 2006 once again achieved outstanding examination results with 88% achieving A*-C grades. There were strong results in ICT, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Modern Languages, Geography, Expressive Arts and PE.

Selectividad
Sotogrande International School continues to offer a high quality convalidated programme for our Spanish students. As a result of this, in Selectividad examinations, our three Spanish graduates achieved a high pass rate allowing them to gain entry to top Spanish universities.
ABRSM and LAMDA
Our students can be congratulated on continued excellence in music and drama exams. In our first ever LAMDA drama exams we achieved two passes and five merits and three distinctions. Special congratulations go to Jennifer Billington, Andrew Jardine and Jamie Lee Northam who achieved distinctions for their outstanding performances.
In ABRSM exams this year we have achieved 34 passes, 3 merits and 1 distinction. Special mention goes to: Oliver Grogan who received a distinction in grade 1 singing; Poppy Jones who achieved Grade 7 clarinet; and Rory Jones, Rio Jones, Paige Munday and Lauren Hubbard who achieved merits in saxophone, singing and piano.
