SIS works hard to make the transition from home to the school as smooth as possible, especially if a child is coming from overseas. The accommodation in boarding is comfortable and pleasant and each student has their own room or shares with another student of the same age. Each boarder has their own private space for their belongings, a built in wardrobe and desk and a single bed. Students often decorate their rooms with posters and bring their own items such as music systems, ipods, dvd's etc.
There is a communal area which consists of a large living room complete with sofas, a large plasma screen, video and dvd players; a small kitchen area where boarders can make their own drinks and toast etc and a study area complete with two internet ready computers. Students are encouraged to do their own laundry and there are washing and ironing facilities for their use.Please Login or Register in SIS
